Kekkei Genkai - Clan Abilities

Clans are the easiest way to customize your character with 'original' abilities or powers that only they and those who call themselves 'members' can pull off! However, when making a clan it is important to remember multiple factors. First of all, and this is a given by now, Clans will only be done once. Attempting to make a clan that has similar effects will most likely be denied due to there being one like it. We do this so that there aren't four different clans all controling ice. Clans can be public or private. This means that any abilities gifted by a KKG can be for your character only or for all to use! Keep this in mind when contemplating making a clan.

To make it easier, Clans abilities are defined into five different categories. These aren't limitations, but rather guild lines to the elements that make up a clan..

1. Physical/Body Mod

- Body Mod - Body Mods are changes to specific body parts or additional body parts that provide some sort of special effect or usage.

- Physical Mod - Physical Mods are abilities that in some way improve the performance of existing physical properties.

2. Spiritual/Chakra Mod

-Spiritual Mod - Spiritual Mods are abilities that in some way improve the performance of chakra usage.

-Chakra Mod - Chakra Mods are specific changes to either ones chakra or chakra system, including non-elemental augmentations to ones chakra.

3. Advanced Element - Advanced Elements can be a bit tricky. Traditionally, an advanced element is made up of two base elements, however there are new and exclusive ways in which one can obtain an Advanced Element. So that there isn't any confusion, here are the two 'types' of Advanced elements, and their limitations.

-pure- Pure elements are advanced elements that aren't made up of any other element. This means it is completely Independent from the two elements that would normally create it. For example the 'Pure' element of Ice would allow for the user to manipulate Ice, however wouldn't require wind and water to manifest. The good thing about pure elements is that one can start out as a Genin with it. The down side is that the user will be limited to ONLY that element.

-combination- Combination elements are advanced elements that are made up of two base elements. This means that the creation of the advanced element is dependent on the user having the two base elements to create it. For example, the 'Combination' element of Ice would allow for manipulation of Ice ONLY once water and wind are obtained. The good thing about combination elements is that one can potentially obtain three separate elements (the two base elements and the third combination). The down side is that because one needs two elements, they must be at least Chuunin/B-rank to do so. Also, jutsu that uses Combination elements will have to be at least 'B' rank, so in no way can a genin in a clan that uses combination elements obtain it from creation.

4. External Mods - External Mods give 'dominion' or 'sovreignty' over objects in the real world, not necessarily creating them, but controling them as they already exist. These are generally not elements, however there are always exceptions. (For example, Konan's paper jutsu)

5. Hybrid Mod - Hyrbid Mods, the most rare, makes the user into a sort of a hybrid, where they are half human and have some other abstract substance. Such as Suigetsu who is made of water. This includes and human/animal hybrids as well. The more powerful Hybrids are between humans and elements, however the more powerfult he hybrid, the higher the greater the weakness.
